Employee Bios

Jerry Kovach - President & Owner

Jerry has experience in all phases of the construction process including but not limited to Site Development, Utility Installation and Paving. With his vast knowledge of the asphalt industry he established Jerry’s, Inc. in 1990, specializing in residential, commercial, municipal and industrial paving. Special interest projects such as Dover Downs Speedway and Harrington Raceway have earned Jerry four State of Delaware Paving Awards. Jerry’s way of doing business is to execute each project like it was his own.

Peter Parks - Chief Estimator

Pete has been in the construction industry since 1978 as a construction estimator and a project inspector. His experience throughout the years as an estimator includes heavy construction as well as utility and highway construction. Pete is certified by Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories for inspection of soils, foundations, concrete and steel.

Rodney Jones - Superintendent

Rodney has been with Jerry’s, Inc. since 2001 and has been involved in the paving industry since 1985. His experience includes the entire spectrum from multi-million dollar heavy duty state and federal roadway projects to residential paving jobs. He is known for his outstanding leadership on projects such as The Pentagon, former Vice President Dan Quayle’s Estate, NASA in Greenbelt, Maryland, and Dover Air Force Base runways. Rodney has received the State of Delaware Paving Award, the State of Maryland Paving Award and the Governors Excellence Award.

Rob Faucett - Estimator

After a tour in the United States Coast Guard, Rob entered the construction industry in 2003 as a project manager and estimator. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Delaware, and an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology and Construction Management from Delaware Technical and Community College. Rob’s unique experience and talents contribute to the culture of excellence at Jerry’s, Inc.

Jerome Downing - Foreman

Employed with Jerry’s, Inc. since 2002, Jerome has been in the heavy construction industry since 1987. He has experience with various heavy construction projects, including the construction of the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial Highway (Delaware SR1). He has received the Governors Excellence Award for his outstanding performance and leadership.
